Fellow photog Brittinae Carr asked me to help her shoot one of her projects at downtown LA. I decided to bring her to the tracks that foreground the beautiful LA skyline. Kenji and Ashley Witt also helped as our stand ins and models.
The Los Angeles Area is known for having the most diversified architecture on the planet. From organic architecture to art deco and all types in between. On my latest visit to LA I shot some art deco buildings like the wiltern, some contemporary and very modern housing buildings, to the 1990 simple clean buildings, amongst many more – for my Survey of Photography – Architecture Project. Here are a few of the awesome nightscape pictures of some places including Wiltern and the Holly Hock House.
Thursday, Tau Theta Pi in collaboration with Pilipino American Student Alliance threw a huge event to commemorate and help the victims of Typhoon Ondoy in Phillippines. From raffles, to all types of donations and amazing performances, they ladies and members of PASA created the space for a legendary event. A similar event will be hosted by Zeta Phi Rho in collaboration with its One Nation organizations at Long Beach on Monday.
