This is my last Best of 2018 post! I’ll have become a photographer and followed my passion for the last 10 years, this July 1st. Its been insane thinking about how many images we’ve shot, how many couples we’ve worked with, and how many place’s we’ve traveled too. I dont know how long i’ll be doing this in mass but I know I love and appreciate every part of it.

I’m usually winded and searching for caffeine by the time the reception starts. There’s already so much that has happened in the day and I’malways looking to my team to get the best details and cover the cocktail hour. But once the party starts, its kind of like seeing the finish line and i’m all out for the home stretch. Here’s some of my favorite wedding reception images of 2018. Please enjoy!
My bridesmaids, my groomsmen, all of them together. Most photographers tend to do more normalized posed photos of their bridal party, maybe since I live for these creative shots, I make it a point to completely take over these moments and direct my perfect bridal party shot.
Once your camera is just an extension of your hand, all that’s left is the posing and direction to make each of these girls and guys feel comfortable and do something they normally wouldn’t. Here’s to the top of the pyramid, the big groups and the work it takes to get happy and drunk bridal party members to do exactly what we need. Hope you love these, cheers.
