Best of 2018 || Dressing the Rings

I’ll be sharing the best of 2018 photos from my wedding days. Each part of my day is a separate process and it always starts with coming in and saying hello to my bride. As soon as I arrive I gather our pre gathered details, of which the rings and the dress shot are the most important in my opinion.

Here are my favorite creative dress and ring set ups from 2018. Hope you enjoy my process! More to come each day this week from 2018!

Best of 2018 || Engagement Sessions

I’m 6 months behind with my posting, but definitely not behind on my deliveries, I just cant seem to find time to hit these blog posts and get on social media, but I am delivering the photos to my couples on time and I think that’s what matters most right?

With that being said here are my favorite engagement photos from 2018, there were so many great sessions so it was hard choosing. Shooting engagement photos is the most demanding creatively of all the parts of booking your wedding photography, its when the photographer is put on the spot and they constantly have to create new interesting images over and over. Its an incredibly demanding day mentally and doing this for 3 to 4 hours while creating a fun and comfortable atmosphere takes tons of practice.

I can say i’m pretty comfortable with the process now on my 10th year and I think that these are always the most fun times i have with my couples. I hope you enjoy these favorites!

Hannah + Adam || Wedding Photography || Christmas House Inn

I shot the photography for Hannah and Adam’s wedding at the Christmas House in Rancho Cucamonga. They were natural models and so much fun throughout the day. Because they are vlog personalities and Hannah is a photographer, they were completely used to being in front of the camera. They also brought alot of different cannabis product since they do reviews and share information about the cbd culture on youtube. You can see so much of the wedding creativity below revolving around that. We also made sure to go to In n Out with the guys and do some crazy fun shots with them and their hats.

I met Hannah back in Photography school almost 10 years ago and when she reached out to me last year to shoot her wedding I was completely surprised. I didn’t know she still saw my work and it was humbling knowing another photographer followed and would even hire me for her wedding. Ultimately the day went extremely smooth and I got to know everyone in their bridal party and family pretty well. If you’re ever thinking about finding a small, unique venue that you can also sleep in, this is the spot. I hope you enjoy these images!
