Earlier this year I got to work with some old friends from my New York trips during Nikki and Dan’s wedding in San Diego. Good friend JR Pena brought us all together again to capture his sister’s beautiful wedding at the Prado in Balboa Park. I loved spending the weekend out there and catching up with the guys and making a nice post New Year’s vacation of it. Thanks for the hospitallity and letting me remember how much fun it was to just run around and second shoot. It’s been a while. Check out the main photographer’s work – Paulo at his site here. Kimmie and Bryan tied the knot at Calamigos Ranch in Malibu last Wednesday and our team was privileged to capture their entire day from start to finish. We had a great time with the extremely hospitable mr and mrs singngham and really got to know their family and friends. I hope your bandwidth is ready for this! Nina and Steven’s wedding started around 7am (for just our photo and video teams) and we shot for about 17 hours! We have tons of photos to share with you in this post. Nina and Steven started with a tea ceremony followed by a traditional ceremony at the beautiful Wayfarer’s Chapel. This was my second time around working with Nina’s family and I was able to rekindle the energy I brought out from the first wedding I shot a few months ago with Nina’s sister. It’s always an advantage when you already shot with the same people and you can tell with the amount of shots we got and the looseness of our bridal party during our shoot at Rainbow Lagoon in Long Beach.
