Janine and Mark decided to have their engagement session at Downtown Disney and were such an easy couple to shoot. Their trust in me allowed me to get creative and produced some great shots. Disneyland and Downtown Disney are always a little more difficult to shoot because you have to worry about getting caught by the workers but we made it work and overall it was a really great day hanging out and shooting these two. These guys floated back into my lives just the other week and hit me with a big one. I haven’t seen Teppei since we graduated from Long Beach years ago. Teppei literally is THE reason why I got through my advanced accounting classes and is one of the smartest people I know. He’d come into class, fall asleep next to me, and then STILL ace the finals. But without him, I woudln’t have known any of my material and I really owe him big time. Fast forward a few years later, Teppei just took his CPA and works for one of the big firms putting numbers in all the right places while i’m still foolin around with a camera! >.< All in all though I'm really glad to see where our paths have taken us and its great reconnecting with old friends. We'll be shooting their wedding really soon in Malibu and I can't wait to party with them. Check out their engagement session story in a few weeks when I post all of them. Enjoy these for now!
So I did tons of editing this week, now that I think of it I pretty much locked myself down in my office and worked non stop from Monday till this morning with the occasional breaks for food, some video games, and water ofcourse ;) But it was all worth it since we got 3 weddings pumped out and two sets of teasers! AND since your probably reading this sometime over this weekend, I’m probably celebrating Gaby and my birthday at Las Vegas, and thanks to good old wordpress advanced publishing, this probably went up while I’m rolling those dice at the tables! So wish me luck! I plan to bring the big bucks home this weekend! :) Okay now on to the work!
Here is Yuki and Chris’s wedding, an intimate ceremony and reception at the Woodbury clubhouse in Irvine. Yuki and Chris met in college and found me through the lounge. They and their entire party were so easy and chill to work with, really making the day run smooth. They even got a studio booth where you can see photos on my photobooth blog. Enjoy!
