I got to help an old friend and amazing inspirational talent, Philip Cariaso cover his movement project set part two, No Gentle Men Allowed. Philip never ceases to amaze me with his creativity, drive and passion, and I’m privileged to cover this for him. These are some really talented women and I’m glad to have known or met them over the years. Check out some of the BTS shots. Amarah + Kenneth || Engaged || Big Bear Mountain – Snow Session

Amarah and Kenneth hosted us for a few days up in Big Bear to shoot their engagement session. When we sat down to talk about their personalities, hobbies, and passions, we came across the idea for a snow session and what better place than Big Bear Lake. We spent the afternoon running around the lake and then hitting the slopes for some really fun shots. holding a light stand and a camera going down a slope could be pretty challenging, but altogether it was worth it. We got tons of photos of Amarah and Kenneth and they were such a great couple to work with, fun, natural, energetic, and down for the shot. Amarah must’ve been freezing in her dress too! I’m looking forward to their wedding at the Disney Concert Hall this summer. Please enjoy!

Darling + Louie || Married || Anaheim

We finished up our last wedding of 2012 with Darling and Louie.  When I first started my venture into photography, I photographed a debut for a family who trusted me enough not to make a fool of myself.  They put their faith in me to capture their debutant’s special day and many years later, Darling, an aunt of the debutant, asked me to photograph her wedding.  I always love working with families that I’ve worked with before because I get to see old friends and see how everyone has grown up.  Darling and Louie and their family have become such great friends with us and we’re glad we’ve been able to reconnect with such wonderful people.  We took some great shots and had some opportunities to take very creative ring and dress shots.  I posted a few more extra than usual. Here’s a look at their special day, I hope you all enjoy!

Words cannot express how happy Louie and I were to have you be a part of our Big Day! I should actually say “days” since you took all our amazing engagement photos as well as BOTH our wedding days!
