Teppei, the guy who got me through accounting in college and one of the smartest guys I know, is getting married next week and we just did their engagement session last month! I really wanted to get these out before his wedding so here they are. Mami and Teppei are an incredibly fun and upbeat couple, climbing things and laying in weird places for me. My Labor day weekend wedding was with a couple that I really have gotten to know over the last year and shot with a few other times at another wedding and ofcourse at their engagement. These photos were really easy to get just because they already knew how I worked and the kind of photos I wanted to get. Check out these teasers till I finish the entire set. Please enjoy!
This weekend was a little different from my typical photography where I focused on shooting a lot more dramatic style shots: off camera lighting, more serious expressions, and more angled lighting sources. Tammy and Ryan really liked that really cool, epic look to their photographs which I really wanted to emulate. Still true to most of my photos though, I kept my journalistic, fun approach to alot of the photos when I could. I think in this set you’ll see a mixture of shots and alot of really intimate moments. I had a great time shooting these two, they’re such great models and an amazing couple together. It was an extremely hot day but they and their bridal party were down for anything and everything. We even got all these shots done in a squeeze of time, but I couldn’t have even asked for more, they were wonderful. Thanks for the opportunity Tammy and Ryan, please enjoy!
