Magz + Jay || Maternity || Santa Monica Pier

Magz and Jerome booked their maternity mini sesh with me a few months ago and wanted to do something fun at the pier. Santa Monica pier is probably my most shot at location even though its a little ways to drive. I love the pier just because theres always so much to do and shoot and I find different things to do every time. Can’t wait to see photos of their little baby girl when she arrives, for now please enjoy these maternity shots!

Lauren + Mitch || Married || Loft Seven, Los Angeles

Lauren and Mitch, my homegrown, subway hopping, heart in DTLA couple, had an intimate rooftop wedding at a unique LA rooftop venue with the DTLA backdrop: the Loft Seven at the Haas Building. Lauren and Mitch booked me through the amazing coordinator Nam of Modern Weddings LA and I have to admit he knocked it out of the park. Nam was able to harness Lauren and Mitch’s personalities and really create something fun, laid back, and beautiful while pushing a stress free timeline. I love this venue and love love love these photos, Lauren and Mitch did a last minute e-sesh a few months ago just to make sure we met each other and knew exactly how my photography moved and we can share a unified vision. I have to admit, because of it, we were able to move flawlessly through their shoot and incorporated some really fun, REAL, downtown LA life, in which Lauren and Mitch really love. You’ll know what I mean when you see the photos below, as well as their high energy party on the rooftop. I had fun with these shots, especially since we got to play with long exposures, dark nights, and lots of background ambient light. I think you photographers out there will appreciate this one – but hopefully not as much as Lauren and Mitch who I hope you guys love these forever to come. Thank you for being a great couple, and my couple :) Please enjoy!
