Spent the day with an amazing couple, Monica and Brian this last Saturday and loved some of the shots we were able to capture. One, I’ve never shot at the Cerritos Center of Performing Arts and its blank canvas of an empty stage. Two, the staircase there is beautiful. It’s finally here, my deadlines are coming up for all of our wedding from about 2+ months ago, so tons of posts are coming up. This one is special to me not only because it’s the amazing Cathy Nguyen, but also because she’s been helping me find my venue for my wedding as well. Ever since Cathy told me about her location, I’ve been in love with it and hoping to book it as well for our wedding. Finally after shooting Cathy and Mikey’s wedding, we pulled trigger as well and booked the Loft for our wedding too. Thanks Cathy and Mikey for letting us bounce ideas off of you guys and also for choosing us to shoot your wedding. It was perfect and we loved everything about it. I felt right at home last night shooting Danielle and Drew’s wedding. Getting to know everyone and moving throughout the day was a breeze – even their family helped me through some of the tight schedules and it really felt like I had a whole team of people trying to make my job easier; though really it was just the hospitality of their family and friends really standing out. There’s so much I want to write about these two, from their engagement session in Santa Monica to their 10 year old relationship and everything they went through together. On top of that, Drew is one of Gaby’s classmates in nursing school and they both JUST last week graduated together. Meaning Drew has been planning a wedding (or maybe lets say Danielle has haha) and been studying for finals all at the same time. I gotta give it to these two.
