Margaret + Nick || Married || Carpinteria, CA

Our team had one of our most traveled weekends earlier this summer when we traveled to Carpinteria, the coastline Santa Barbara neighboring city, and to Glen Oaks the next day all the way across the state for another wedding. We took the entire team out for the weekend, photo and video and got to witness an epic private beach wedding. We even jumped on some tracks and ran from trains ;) All in all we had the perfect weekend and Margaret and Nick topped it off by making us feel relaxed and welcomed, it was like we never missed a beat from our engagement session. Best part was I was able to reconnect with old friends and make some new ones. Their bridal party even walked down half the beach just so I could try some unique bridal party ideas, and for that I am eternally grateful. I hope these photos make up for it! Thanks Margaret and Nick for being so easy to work with, please enjoy!

Melissa + Elmer || Engaged || San Diego, CA

Most couples will want their photographer to have shot at their location or venue in the past, experience is nice, it’ll make sure they use their time most efficiently and reduce any stress involved with finding great shots. But to tell you the truth? New locations are always the most fun because there isn’t a nagging thought in the back of my head constantly telling me to “keep doing something new!” because everything i’d do would be new and there would be no self competition. Thats exactly how I felt at this shoot with Melissa and Elmer, freedom to do what I want, shoot where I pleased, jump on a boat and zoom over to the other side of the lake or just take our own little section of Extraordinary desserts. It was definitely fun, a little adventurous, lots of rule breaking, and tons of unexpected. I’m pretty sure Melissa and Elmer thought I was joking when I first said to run through the water. Water stains? We’ve got the power of photoshop :) Anywho there were WAY too many photos I fell in love with and got to play around with some ideas. Check out the water reflection shot at the waterfront, you might see something different in the photo. I hope they frame and print tons of these, I couldn’t pick which was my favorite. Let me know yours! Please enjoy!

Genevie + Jeff || Engaged || Downtown Disney

Gen and Jeff had a short sesh with me the other week but we kept shooting till way past our limit just because Downtown Disney and the hotels have so much to do. I actually got to see a side of Disneyland I’ve never seen before and had the perfect couple for it. Gen and Jeff took us out for dinner afterward as well and I think our entire conversation was about nerdy stuff, just the way I love it. Gaby and I had a really nice time and look forward to geeking out again with these two. Check out these wonderful photos and please enjoy!
