Beauty By Sayaka || Lifestyle Photography || Yorba Linda/Anaheim

I got connected with our model Mckenna through my friend Sayaka Suzuki (who also happens to be my go-to whenever I need a makeup artist!). We wanted to set up a fun test shoot just to flex our creative muscles a bit and not have the pressure of working under a strict concept or time crunch. We shot the first photos at Mckenna’s place using the awesome light falling through the windows. After that, we found a sweet hiking trail down the street that transported us to another world, and afterwards wrapped up our shoot in Anaheim with a little bit of a gritty street/urban look. Sayaka did such an awesome job on the makeup and I couldn’t have imagined this shoot going as well as it did without her. This particular shoot was the first one I got the opportunity to work with a makeup artist on set for a test shoot. It really opened my eyes to the value of having someone like Sayaka on set to change the look at a moment’s notice. It was definitely a great learning experience for me as a photographer. Be sure to give her a follow at @sayakasuzukimakeup !

Cristina + Emerson || Wedding Photos || Sportsmens Lodge

Cristina and Emerson’s wedding is the perfect example of how we shoot at our highest potential when we’re in perfect sync with our couple. Cristina and Emerson literally spent the day making sure we (as well as every person in their bridal party) were comfortable and had everything we needed, in the end we literally got photos of EVERYTHING and didn’t miss a beat. We we’re able to bring out the most energy from everyone and get in the mix of it all and it never felt like work. There’s a ton of photos here and I’m in love with all of them, we had such a great couple and bridal party and I couldn’t be more thankful, Please enjoy!

Cressa + Ron || Engagement Photos || Train Museum, Hollywood Bowl

Cressa and Ron are tying the knot in a couple months and they shot at my newest favorite spot, I think we’re doing our trash the dress here after Gaby and I tie the knot as well. Cressa and Ron were uber easy to work with and shooting them at the wedding is going to be tons of fun. They even brought me to the Hollywood Bowl for the first time, so lots of NEW stuff coming up in this post. Please enjoy!
