Aleina + Mario || Wedding Photos || Strawberry Farms, Irvine

I met Aleina and Mario when I shot Aleina’s sister’s wedding back in 2011. They kept me close to mind when it came for their time and I was once again reunited with Aleina’s family. It felt familiar but different at the same time since we were honored with similar traditions like Aleina’s aunts performing hula dances for everyone and just sharing old stories with familiar faces. These photos were so easy to capture considering everyone was like family, and their decor was so beautiful and unique. Please enjoy these beautiful photos! Thank you again for having me :)

Channary + Chris || Wedding Photos || Palos Verdes, CA

Finally catching up with blogging, this set is from Channary and Chris’ wedding which was at the beautiful Palos Verdes South Coast Botanical Garden. I loved getting these creative shots, getting ready silhouettes, and just being around these two. They had so much energy and were down for anything. I always love it when I get couples that reflect my outgoing style of shooting and want to see their real day unfold as it did. Joanne + Allen || Wedding Photos || Palms Beach, Dominican Republic

I booked this trip over a year ago and have been looking forward to 1. visiting the Dominican Republic again, and 2. shooting the Carreon family again. When time finally came, I was reminded exactly why it was so much fun. Other than being in the DR which was amazing, from sky lanterns, to food and bar service all the time – we were able to relax and enjoy each day that we weren’t shooting. I’m also particularly proud that I shot this wedding all on my own, but also helped Dominique shoot video for it as well. While running two photo cameras, I was checking on composition, exposure, sound, battery life, and memory card life of 2 or 3 other cameras all at the same time. I have to admit it was probably one of the hardest things to do, not to mention 96 degree weather at 65% humidity, but it also is one of the most amazing things we’ve done, and I couldn’t be happier :) Hope you love these photos, please enjoy!
