My great friend Krystle is releasing her EP entitled TIME next Friday 11.11.11 – I really wish I could go to her release party but I’ll be shooting the last 4 of my 6 weeks 6 weddings rush starting that weekend, so the best I can do is wish her the best and send you all to her music. So we had a few ideas for her album cover artwork including looking into a mirror and seeing a clock. womp womp hahaha i’m glad we snipped that idea, but krys came up with even a better one, something that could relate to her and the meaning of seeing time. We really played with emotions over time and really brought out the “real”ness in the set. I shot very close to a white drop and made sure shadows were seen. It’s not like alot of my normal work that’s much more controlled and studio like, these almost have a feel like were just shooting in front of a white wall. On top of that we went out and took some shots at a park nearby. Finally just the other week, I B-Rolled and accompanied the sunshine team at the filming of the music video for her single Sunshine directed by Anthony David teamed with Sarah Mendoza.
