Iris + Mark | Married | Rancho Palos Verdes – Redondo Beach – Wayfarers Chapel Wedding

So December 30, 2011 was my last 2011 wedding and it was so much fun. Mark and Iris are an amazing couple who made shooting their wedding so easy. They’re having two wedding dates, this first one was their ceremony just for their close family and the second one later this year for their reception with their family and friends. They booked a plethora of my team of colleagues at the Bridal Lounge so their wedding day ran smoothly without any glitches. We shot at the Redondo Beach pier for their first look and continued to the Wayfarer’s Chapel for their ceremony. Mark and Iris have become good friends so shooting was so much easier and my creative juices were flowing. On top of that Mark and Iris were so good at being lovey dovey that these shots just came together. I can’t wait to get together with them for the next shoots and food binges. Thanks Mark and Iris for trusting me and hanging in there while waiting for the photos! Please enjoy!

Angela + Jason | Engaged | Teasers

I hereby declare this week editing crunch week. If all goes well I’ll be posting 3 or 4 times this week with lots of great work from previous engagements and weddings. First off was yesterday’s session with Angela and Jason, I got the start on their save the dates because I really wanted to play with some typography all of a sudden. Here are the teasers, hope you enjoy these!

Jackie + Matt | Engaged | Los Angeles Abandoned Zoo Engagement

Jackie and Matt came to me with intention of doing their engagement session just right. After getting to know them I threw out some fun ideas that they snagged right away. The two things that stood out the most were that they loved playing World of Warcraft and Star Wars, actually spent years playing with each other, AND that they would go to the zoo on dates. Now how do we combine this and put it into photos? Zoo + PC Games. well why not?! This led us to headsets, laptops, and the los angeles abandoned zoo which i’ve seen in photos but have not been too. Jackie and Matt were so down to get down and dirty in the old zoo cells and all around the zoo grounds. I can’t believe how down they were to even climb cages and what not. Thanks so much for the awesome adventure – we had a blast. Make up also courtesy of Gaby Manalo.

Also got to mention that I’m a big fan of the TV-series, Chuck. And with their series finale just the other week, I wanted to pay tribute to that amazing show with this slideshow of their photos in which the song aired in last years season finale. Hope you like it!
