Kim + Joe || Married || Laguna Beach

We shot Kim and Joe’s last month in Laguna Beach and we had a great time. Kim and Joe flew out from Minnesota for their wedding here and their entire family and friends joined them. We got to work with my friends at Salon 25 again who did an amazing job as usual. Kim and Joe gave me just the right amount of time to get all of our shots and get creative with the Laguna beach streets. They had an outdoor wedding and reception and took some photos on the beach to wrap it up. I really loved capturing their moments and getting the prep shots for Kim, her girls and her venue were perfect. Thanks so much again guys! Hope you enjoy all your photos!

Full set can be found here. Or most of them ;)

Iris + Mark || Promotional Video || Married || Teasers

I’m happy to announce that production for my promo video has finally concluded, earlier this week Lu Tran of Still Moments Studio sent me over the final copy of our video we worked on a few months ago and I’m very happy with the results. I’m not a very big fan of seeing and hearing myself in front of the camera, but Lu did a really great job getting the real passion out of me and into his work.

The timing couldn’t have been better as I was blessed to work with Iris and Mark, one of my couples and good friends who had a intimate ceremony I covered in December. We shot at plane hangars thanks to our friends at Planes of Fame and at Scripps College. Together with Mark and Iris, Still Moments, and Gaby; we were able to create this little piece. The timing is perfect because just this last weekend Iris and Mark had their big reception and renewal of vows at the Santiago Canyon Mansion and I’ve got a few teasers along with the video to share together.

I’d just like to thank everyone again that was involved in this, I have some talented friends who know how to make my photography look good. :) Oh and thanks to Lolo Tolentino for helping me get this up on my site using only html – this video will be opening on my splash page when you go to justinelement.com and on the top of my blog for now on. But for now, you can see it below. Check it out!

Val + Jarrod || Married || Teasers

Val and Jarrod’s wedding was this last Friday and I reconnected with some good friends and brides I’ve worked with. Agnes and Daniel got married last year in August in San Diego, who are Val and Jarrod’s cousins. I also shot Val’s sisters wedding a few years ago and did their family portraits a few times. But you might remember this couple from my first New York trip, where I shot Val and Jarrod over two days all around New York. Over all the events, sessions, and just food runs, I’ve really gotten to know these guys and am really glad that we’ve become friends. Every day I come into my office and I look up at Val and Jarrod’s photo in front of the Brooklyn Bridge enlarged right above my computer. I’ll tell you more about their wedding when these are all finished in a few weeks. For now, enjoy these three teasers.
