Melissa + Greg || Married || Fess Parker Doubletree, Santa Barbara

It’s my birthday today! I just turned 21 ;) hahaha Birthday or not, its the wedding season and I’m still on that summer grind, so what better than celebrating by releasing more work!

I met Greg in highschool and I got to meet his fiancé (now wife) Melissa for the first time early July while she was getting her hair done at the salon. Instantly, we clicked, and I knew she would be great to shoot. We were able to really get to know each other that morning and create some amazing images. Melissa was up for the beach, hitchhiking on the streets and jumping on the back of a bike and I also got to see a side of Greg I’ve never seen before as we took photos on the beach ;) and just catching up with him and trading our views on sports and basketball. Can’t believe its been almost 10 years since we’ve graduated and we’re literally all grown up now. Thanks for thinking of me to capture your big day Greg, you and Melissa are an amazing couple. Maegan + Kevin || Delta Engagement || SNA, John Wayne Airport

I love getting to know my couples and finding out as well as reliving their most special moments. Maegan and Kevin’s theme was journey, which encompasses their entire relationship in one word. Maegan and Kevin travel for their career constantly and just by chance, in a completely romantic and serendipitious moment, met each other on a Delta flight. On January 12, 2012, Kevin and Maegan met on DL1289 bound for John Wayne Airport in Santa Ana from Atlanta Georgia. After an interesting sequence of events, a man insisted Kevin leave his aisle seat at 11C, and move over. Taking one for the team between Maegan and himself, he moved to seat 11B to sit next to her. A year later, Kevin asked her to marry him. Kevin proposed to her in the middle of the seats during the flight and the Delta crew announced it to everyone on the plane on the PA. Fast forward to July of 2013, Delta kindly assisted our beautiful couple in recreating their special moment in one of their 737’s at John Wayne airport. I can sit here and describe how amazing it was to be able to have the opportunity to shoot at the airport and in the cockpit of a boeing 737, but its probably much easier for you to just take a peek at their images below. I’m sure you’ll fall in love with their story as much as I have. Please enjoy!

Trisha + Ryan || Married || Teasers

I’ve gotten to know Trisha and Ryan over the last year and a half and have been privileged to get to know them outside of their wedding planning as well. I can’t say enough great things about these two who have literally opened their world to us. I’m glad to have been able to shoot such an amazing couple and who have become great friends. This post is going to really be a long one as we have over 14 hours of photos to go through, but here are just a few of my favorites from the day (I definitely went overboard). Also got to partner up with the amazing Mon Villacorta cinema team for this one. Cheers to great friends, loving family, and beautiful moments. Please enjoy!
