Ligaya + Anthony || Engaged || Teasers

We met Anthony and Ligaya a few months ago when they started planning for their wedding. Kevin and I will be covering their big day with photo and video and we started putting our plans to action with our engagement session last week. We went to LA and shot at Little Tokyo, Union Station, and Echo Park. Anthony and Ligaya are naturals and there are tons of great shots I want to share so keep your eyes peeled! Please enjoy these for now!

Dapper . Sex . Linguistics BTS || A Movement Project Special by Philip Cariaso Jr.

Movement Project presents, Dapper Sex Linguistics. Recently you may have seen my posts about No Gentlemen Allowed? well the outcry for a male counterpart video was so strong, that Philip Cariaso Jr couldn’t resist. That and literally knowing the best dancers in the world, makes it easier to set something of this “wowfactor” to set up. I shot the BTS of Dapper Sex Linguistics and got to reconnect with old friends and see some amazing choreography. I played with lighting and composition alot as well, I figure if you have time to shoot freely and creatively, you go all out. I feel like dance and photography really go hand in hand, there’s always a struggle to perfection, create something new, and outperform yourself each and everytime. I love shooting with Philip and these guys, thank you to everyone for allowing me into your homes and souls. Please enjoy.

Gina + Dan || Married || Sikh Center of Orange County – Hilton of Long Beach

Gina and Dan’s wedding was stunning. Mili Shah’s team at Planning Elegance put together a beautiful wedding from start to finish for Dan and Gina’s family and friends. They mixed together their Indian, Vietnamese, and Italian heritages with a piece of each culture in their wedding with a Bharat in the morning, light lunch afterwards, a traditional ceremony at the Long Beach Hilton Courtyard, Canoli stuffing during the cocktail, and Vietnamese and Indian traditional performances in the reception. Gina is also a designer so she used her expertise to create some of the most beautiful bokeh influenced designs, from their head table to the floral designs on the wall. We even provided our studio booth with a step and repeat backdrop. The day went perfectly and I can’t thank these two enough for booking me for their big day. I am in love with these photos and will be forever, make sure to stop by our grand opening and see some of them up on our walls! This will be a long one, so hope your bandwidth is ready! Please enjoy!
