Kim + Joe || Mission Inn Riverside Creative Wedding Photographer

We shot at Mission Inn Riverside for Kim and Joe’s beautiful wedding. Mission inn’s historical meaning and its beautiful Spanish style architecture will leave you breathless.

Kim and Joe pulled out all the stops when planning their wedding. Everyone including my team spent the night at Mission Inn and partied with our couple and their friends and family all night. Because we traveled to Cambodia with this same group last year, it was easy slipping back in without skipping a beat.

We shot all over the Hotel including their special bridal suite that overlooked the ceremony courtyard. As a result of previously rainy days, we had tons of clouds which made for a beautiful backdrop. The reception hall is also extremely unique since it has a stage and boasts elaborate 1800’s Spanish inspired decor.

Because decor and architecture like this is very rare to find, I might have a few other spots for you if you’re looking for something similar. Check out Rancho Los Alamitos.

Thanks to tons of time and just a really cool couple, we were able to get tons of really cool images. I hope you like them! Please enjoy.

Alex + Daniel || Wedding Day After Session || New York Library

Let’s share some wedding photography in New York! Obviously I’m a year behind on my posts and I need to get on it. So here is the final shoot on my trip to New York last year to capture Alex and Daniel’s wedding. We ran around the city the day after their wedding to find some of the most unique spots.

Admittedly this is not the typical New York landscape, but more of an intimate look. Soon after we followed it up with one of my newest favorite places the New York Library. Photography isn’t the most joyous thing there so we sneaked in and took a few “candid” shots in and around the Library. Although I have to admit there are tons of tourists and couples still shooting just as we were (we were just better at hiding it!).

There’s so many places to shoot in New York so take a peak at my previous New York shoots for more locations. Maybe you can find a great shoot spot to shoot or model for on your own. Here are two of my favorite shoots in the past years. Rowena and Miguel || Ting and Ming. I hope you enjoy this set and I can’t wait to go back to New York this July! Please enjoy.

Alex + Daniel || New York Botanical Garden Wedding Photography || Stone Mill

My team flew to New York for the week to capture Alex and Daniel tie the knot. They wed under a Huppah as the sun dipped and celebrated in the Stone Mill at New York’s Botanical Garden. The stone mill is an incredibly unique venue with brick work laid throughout the mill. Therefore it has a very farm-chic and historic charm associated with it. Because of a forresty green, in the mid-city feel, couples come from all over the world to capture their wedding. Alex and Daniel got ready together in their flat in the Upper Westside and shared a love for Bill Waterson’s Calvin and Hobbes with me. So I decided to create a layflat mock up of their rings and their favorite Calvin and Hobbes comics. Ultimately I captured all of the emotion I aimed to witness and as a result, I love the images we have below.

I had a wonderful time capturing their day and being reunited with an old mentor of mine Pete Tangen who is an amazing photographer and showed me the ropes during my time assisting in big Hollywood. I can’t express how grateful I am for these opportunities. Alex and Daniel ran around the city the next day for their after session as well. Those I’ll share on Monday. For now please enjoy!
