Carissa and Paul are one of my theknot.com couples and I think we both were amazed at how our personalities fit so well. I really believe finding your photographer is a two way thing. Its not only that you have to love and trust your photographer, but the photographer has to be able to love and enjoy the couple as well. Thats really how great images are made. I can stand testament to that as my best photos are of the clients i’m closest with. So heads up when your looking for your photographer, make sure you have a special connection with them. As for Carissa and Paul? Well they clicked with Gaby and I pretty much instantaneously and we’re planning on having a Spartacus (best show ever!) marathon soon. As for the photos, I gotta give it up to Carissa for running around on that hot day in heels and a bright blue dress. and as always with Disneyland – evading the strong hand of management tellling us professional photographers need a shoot permit in the park (lame huh!), anywho best lighting assist ever, thanks to Gaby.

IT IS! hahhaa. Thanks so much, I feel like my mind was recreated when I met with him. This shoot was before I met with Todd but of course thru some sort of osmosis my compositions tended to gravitate to some of his work. When I editted, I could only remember his advice in my head. Hopefully with his tips and a mix of my lighting and style, I can create something really funky and fresh.
