For their engagement shoot, Cat and Danny really wanted to go down to LA to shoot at the farmer’s market. We headed out there really early and all of the vendors were really accommodating and let us run around their lots to take their photos. We finished up the shoot at a place Cat found that overlooks LA and had a UCLA tailgate. I hope everyone’s holiday season is going well and please enjoy these photos!
I flew out to the Dominican Republic on Monday to shoot Melissa and Ryan’s destination wedding here. I’m still currently at the resort and getting spotty wifi access so I decided to put up a shot or two from the wedding yesterday before I lose internet again. I’ve been away from contact for a few days now, so I thought a photo update was due. Who knows, I might actually post my first instagram post tonight. And yes, i’ve joined the darkside. Its just a matter of time till it goes up and sets off the chain reaction of what is known to be instagram whoring. Maybe i’ll start a trend where instead of taking a photo of the food before I eat it, I’ll take a photo AFTER and make you guess what it was. Wait, has that been done before. Anywho, so onwards, please enjoy!

Janine and Mark really fit perfectly with the style of photography we’ve created. It seems, along with Janine and Mark, that all my couples are really fun and laid back, couples that want to create genuine, real, energetic images. Janine and Mark didn’t want to do things the traditional way, they wanted it to be fun, real, and personal. Mark got ready in the same room Janine did, they toook photos together before their ceremony and reserved just the right amount of time to run around and take some fun photos. I’m really glad I got to work with these two, they’re amazing people and a real pleasure to work with. I loved shooting their reception also, I’ve never seen the entire guestlist do the thriller! Check out there photos from the Bowers Museum, definitely a top spot in my wedding reception lists. Please enjoy!
