Got to run around with two Bruins through Westwood and the UCLA campus this last weekend. We took a ton of fun photos and shot into the evening. Lindsay, the girl who endured the long drives from her place to San Diego just to see Glenn every weekend, finally got to seal the deal with him this past weekend! Their wedding was set in Anaheim, which is appropriate as they’re both huge Disneyland lovers, and it was just party, party, party from morning to night. Their goal was just to have everyone enjoy the day with them and they definitely made it happen. The team and I can say that it was more fun for us throughout the day than it was work, and that’s what we always strive to have with our couples. It’s funny, sometimes I don’t see my couples for a few months between their engagement and wedding day, but everytime we close that gap on their big day and I see them again after 7 or 8 months, its like nothing’s changed. All the tricks, all the same things I’ve made them laugh about, they remember it all – and we’re immediately back in the heart of it all. I bring this up because Cindy and Matt are prime examples of instantaneous action. When I took them out for their 1 on 1 part of their wedding, it was like we shot their engagement yesterday and they were right there on what I wanted without having to explain all over again. I love it, the exact reason why I love shooting engagement sessions, and why I love shooting my fun, wacky, and sometimes bizarre couples. We made the best with the time we had and captured some real and intimate moments and I couldn’t have asked for more from Cindy and Matt. They have been a perfect couple to me and I’m glad to share this special day with all of you. This one is a long one so take a deep breath and test your internet! Please enjoy!
