Borany + Edwin || Destination Wedding Part 1 || Siem Reap, Cambodia

This has been a post i’ve been looking forward to sharing and even though I’ve been posting more of our Hawaiiann wedding recently, I wanted to put a special mention out to my couple who flew us out to Cambodia before I move forward with our next destinations.

Borany and Edwin welcomed us into their family with open arms, took care of us for the entire say, surprised me with 3 extra days of paradise and made sure we knew exactly where to go and what to do in Cambodia and in our stopovers at Shanghai. We spent the first four or five days just enjoying ourselves in the new environment, while Bo’s dad toured us around different sites, historical monuments, and cultural experiences. Bo’s dad is a professor at the college there and he had a lot of insight into what we were seeing. He even shared with us his personal experiences. Dom, Earl, and I snapped photos of everything around us, you’ll see below where he tells his story of how he fled to America during the Khmer Rouge years.

Through these morning excursions and the nightly celebrations, our crew got to really know Bo and Ed’s family and friends, which really is the best part of destination weddings. We didnt miss a beat, we felt like we were among family, and we were able to document alot of it as both visitors and friends. I can’t thank these two enough for the experience and am glad they’ve brought me in.

This will be the first of two posts, These next 60 or so photos were taken in the first 4 days in Cambodia of our surroundings and the experiences we had with Bo, Ed, and their family. I edited these immediately and shared them on our photocircle the next day. The next post will be just the wedding day itself, I couldn’t justify sticking all of what this is into just one post. Hope you love these! Please enjoy.
