Sally and Chris’s wedding was the first out-of-town/long distance gig for ‘Team Earl’. We drove 2 hours down to San Diego and into Coronado Island, getting to see and shoot in totally different locations throughout the day. We started off at the beautiful, but intimate Glorietta Bay Inn. The rooms offered nice big windows, which is always a plus for us photographers! ;) paired with the cloudy overcast we had in the morning, it only made our ‘getting ready’ photos that much more exciting. Afterwards, we shot some fun bridal party photos at the Ferry’s Landing and eventually made our way into the Naval Base towards Breaker’s Beach, where the rest of the day would unfold. Like I said in the teaser post, this was one of the most emotional ceremonies I’ve ever shot. Before Sally said her vows to Chris, she had vows prepared for the kids. Everyone was crying happy tears after. Sally and Chris have the some of the biggest hearts and coolest personalities I’ve ever encountered in a couple. Thoughtful words and meaningful actions are what they’re all about. After all the emotions at the ceremony and a super FUN, well executed reception (Shout out to Aimee Cruz and the rest of her coordinating team for holding it down the whole day), my team and I left Breaker’s Beach feeling great about what we accomplished with such an awesome couple. More out-of-town gigs for us please! Take a scroll down and feel the emotions. Please enjoy. =)
