Scouting and Lighting Work

11 more days till I set out for Thailand and i’m hurrying to tie up all my loose ends on the states side. I don’t want to head to Thailand unprepared along with edits still open on my desktop and lots of work left to do when i come back. I’d rather come back with only Thailand and my future weddings to worry about. So among the many many things i’ve been doing, I went ahead and did a scout session at disneyland for Eileen and Brian’s E-Session next month. Gaby and my passes expired last week so we made sure to make it before we got the boot. We met up with friends Jeannie and Ralph who were happy to pose last minute for us and I got to experience with light balance, probably the most important thing about impromptu lighting. I got some good ideas, solid compositions, and was happy with the balance in the end result. What topped it all off was while we were in front of the castle that night, we saw a couple just get engaged, well I saw the end as the guy got up from his one knee, but everyone else saw it! Either way I was privileged to take a few shots for them so they could remember their amazing moment. Hope you like the scouting shots!

this last one was taken by ralph. Thanks Ralph!
