About Me

written by gaby

Well first off, hello everyone! I hope you are enjoying my site so far. I’ll be updating frequently with new work, my thoughts on different products, and just random things that I would like to share with all of you.

But here’s a little bit about me:

I can safely say I was never a girly girl growing up.  I played with the boys, I think my mom nearly had a heart attack whenever I came home from school because, more often than not, I was covered in dirt. Oh, and I had a massive obsession with video games (which I still do).  I really don’t know how it happened, but I fell in love with make up.  I loved the idea of being able to change your look from day to day, and spent many hours just playing with different colors. I still stay up late at night coming up with new ideas just because it’s what I love to do. And then the whole YouTube makeup sensation came around and I was hooked. This is probably about the time where I played around with the idea of becoming a makeup artist.  I took classes and truly discovered the power of makeup. I’ve spent hours upon hours working with others to broaden my knowledge base and have practiced my craft on many.  The art of making is one that is constantly changing and even now, I take classes as often as I can and look to others for advice just because there is so much to learn.

And this is where I am now.  I absolutely love the idea of making people feel beautiful and making them feel confident.  I want to show people that when done correctly, makeup is more than just red lipstick and blue eye shadow.  Gone are the days where makeup is seen as fake and tacky.  It’s an art. A complete transformation of both outer and inner beauty.  Makeup has the power to make you feel just as good as people see you.  Whether it be just something as simple as lipgloss and mascara, to the most intricate looks, I want to share with all of you that extra boost of confidence that makeup brings.
