One of the biggest trends I’ve been seeing for the end of the year is matching metallic eyes with berry colored lips. This is an amazing, amazing color combination and really works on every skin color. What I love about this trend is that you can really play up either the eyes or the lips, depending on your mood. If you want to play up the eyes, I would do a smokier eye look using metallic shades with a more neutral berry shade. If I wanted to put the focus on lip color, I would just do a simple wash of one metallic color and use a more vibrant berry color. If you don’t want to wear such a loud lipstick, metallic eyes paired with a nude or more neutral shade of lipstick is flattering on everyone, too! This is such a great color combination, and I’ve been seeing it everywhere–from the runway, to higher end cosmetic companies, to drugstore companies!
