Laura & Chris Texas to California – UC Irvine Campus

Photographer: Justinelement

Assistant: Gaby Manalo

Hair and Make Up: Julie Le

Side Note: So I had TONS of pictures that were great, really funny pictures, pictures with laura and chris smushing noses, laughing, super lively active stuff, but I could only choose so many before I overwhelmed myself. So these are just a few of my favorites. Maybe Laura and Chris will post up the other 178 pictures :)

Chris and Laura got together the beginning of this year after meeting at their college orientation at UCR. They ended up having almost all the same classes together and Chris ended up tutoring Laura in calc. Laura told us that at first Chris ignored her, but Chris says it was because he “was too “shy” to talk to such a “pretty girl” like Laura”… good one Chris =D After a little “traditional” courting, they made it official. Now here’s where we are – the first year of college is over and Chris has to take his education elsewhere. Eventually both will be in med school, but Chris has to do it at UTA, the University of Texas. Its going to be hard for these two but anything worth it never came easy, and what they have is totally worth it. Long distance relationships are hard, but with the right pieces, the proper communication and LOVE, everything will be ok. I know they’ll be perfectly fine, and you’ll know too when you look at these pictures. Laura and Chris, I wish you two the best! Hope you enjoy their session, please enjoy responsibly.

Krystle Tugadi – Fullerton, CA

Location: Downtown Fullerton

Photographer: Justinelement

Assistant: Ralph Casafrancisco

I did a photo sesh for old friend Krystle Tugadi who is launching her website soon. Krystle’s website will promote her music and market her to her fans via updates and forums. Krystle and I have been old friends from Cal State Long Beach and now were both following our dream. If you want something enough, you gotta go out there and get it right? Here’s our pictures from the quick session out in Downtown Fullerton, just the streets around Foxy’s theatre and a small park nearby. Please enjoy responsibly.

Kababayan Fest 2010 – Buena Park, CA, Knotts Berry Farm

Poreotix, We Are Heroes, AJ Rafael, Passion, Innerlude, Krystle Tugadi, Mike Isberto, Minny Pacquiao, the GMA crew – Steven Silva Carla Abellana, Filipino Apparel, friends, and more more more more. This years Kababayan Fest, the largest Filipino gathering in the West Coast was again hosted at Knotts Berry Farm in Buena Park, CA. Thanks to winning two tickets at the kaba corner during Carson’s Filipino Independence Day festival, Gaby and I were able to go to the show for free! And thanks to Jun Aglipay, we also got backstage media passes, its surprising where you can go with flashing a big camera! I got to see old friends, both performers and media crew that i’ve met in my tenure at Long Beach State throwing events and I got to make some new ones. I think the biggest surprise was seeing the old singing group Innerlude who have recently come back together, perform their classics and a new song from their new album Reminisce. As for everyone else who performed, it was great seeing them back on stage after so long. Here are some highlights of the hot hot hot day. Everything was great except for the sun beating down on us, but it was well worth seeing everyone again. Great job especially to Krystle Tugadi (who’s website just recently launched with my some of my photography in it) and my boys from Poreotix – You guys repped Long Beach well!

The entire event can be viewed in my gallery via link (which is still uploading into the night 302 pictures): http://justinelement.smugmug.com/Events/Kababayan-Fest-2010

Please enjoy responsibly ;)

Well I must say you have quite the site here. Very good job in the design and layout. I never took you to be a photographer but I'm really impressed. You did a good job man. In my upcoming blogs I'm going to see if I can plug you in; and I wouldn't recommend you if I didn't think you were good.

PS – when you get time pick up the book problogger. Nothing against your blog but since you're an entrepreneur I think it would be a great benefit.

Take it easy.
