Adrienne and Jamel Married – Pinole, CA – Berkley, CA

This past Labor Day weekend, Gaby, James Macasaet, and I traveled up north to Berkeley to cover Adrienne and Jamel’s wedding, and it was definitely a very busy but very fun weekend! You might remember their engagement a couple months back at Laguna Beach – here it is: https://justinelement.com/blog/?p=1559. We left on Friday and were able to see some of the locations we would be shooting at. Although it was pretty much pitch black and freezing,we were still running around like a ninjas trying to find every possible place to shoot–we even had a run in with some raccoons! Gaby was hired to be the makeup artist for this wedding, so James covered as second shooter and lighting assistant.

We started the day incredibly early, at 8 o’ clock. The wedding took place in a lovely church in Pinole and was filled with close family and friends.  After the ceremony, we took Adrienne, Jamel, and their wedding party down to the Berkeley Marina where we captured some amazing wedding party shots along with some bride and groom portraits. Following the reception was held at the Pyramid Brewery in Berkley. Where we set up our lights and got some amazing shots of their first dance, guests, and all the fun. I had an amazing time with the wedding party, the family, and all the guests. Thank you so much Adrienne, Jamel, Arielle, Quintel, Laron and everyone who showed us around, it was an amazing trip!

Hope you enjoy all the photos, the Trash the Dress session will be coming soon! Please enjoy responsibly.

Chi Sigma Phi Sessions

So these last two weeks the ladies of Chi Sigma Phi contacted to make their composite for their sorority and take all their pictures. I made two composites, one was the standard composite and the other was a really fun expressive composite. All in all though I really had a good time meeting all of the girls and getting to know them. Here are some of my favorites and just some that I really had a fun time shooting, I’m sure you’ll see why.

Thanks for coming into the studio ladies, hope you all the best at your formals this weekend! Please enjoy responsibly!
