Castillo Clan Family Shoot

I did a photo shoot for the entire Castillo Clan of which I’ve done Christina and Aaron’s wedding, one of the Castillo Family’s portraits, and will be doing Val and Jarrod, and Agnes and Daniel’s wedding. All in all, this family is one of my utmost favorites and have been some of my biggest supporters in my photography adventures. It was my pleasure shooting all 5 families and really getting to know them throughout the day. Thanks so much for the food, the ice cream, and the hospitality, Gaby and I had a blast.

Lizzy and Albert’s Wedding from Justin Element on Vimeo.

You might remember Lizzy and Albert from the video shoot at CSULB that Scott Yoshimoto of Movemedia Production did earlier this year. This October they got married! Their wedding was gorgeous, with over 300 guests and a 34 person entourage for their wedding party, it was the biggest wedding party iI’ve worked with but since there were so many people I knew I’d be getting great shots the entire time. James and I went to Albert’s house first and took pictures of the guys getting ready. They were trying to find movies that were appropriate for the day, after  shuffling through Wedding Crashers, Dawn of the Dead (really guys, why did we have to watch this), and Madden NFL ’09, we finally got to the movie that made the most sense. The Hangover. hahaha, it works. Also all over Albert’s house was little notes from Lizzy she left him so he can read that morning, probably some of the most romantic stuff I’ve seen.

Later that day I went to Lizzy’s house and started shooting over there. James that lucky guy got to stay with the guys and bask in the pleasures of Blue Moon and Grey Goose. As for me, I watched the girls put on make-up ;) haha. But I really enjoyed getting to know all the girls, all 18 or so of them! I also got to see Lizzy the moment she put on her dress, so in the end, it was a better choice. I even got some of the bridesmaids holding up my business cards, score one for the jay team.

Lizzy and Albert’s wedding went perfectly as planned and the entourage session was great. The security guards saw it kindly in the hearts to let us shoot even on the trolley. The reception at Michael’s Tuscany room was beautiful also. Thanks so much for choosing me to be part of your special day!

Agnes and Daniel Engaged

Agnes and Daniel hosted us in San Diego again earlier in November to finish up our shoot in USD campus. We did a much more playful theme focused on just Ag and Daniel which you’ll definitely see in these pictures. I’m really glad these two are getting married because over the last few months I really feel like i’ve been getting closer and closer to them. Ag and Daniel have definitely become very good friends of ours (Gaby and I) and after the so many family shoots, engagement shoots, and weddings i’ve seen them in, its become a mini vacation everytime we plan something. Thanks so much for choosing me again Ag, were going to have so much fun during your wedding week. :)

and i’m really glad you love the pictures, I love the ones of you laughing “fart, poop, blehh!” hahaha

Please enjoy responsibly.
