Whilst my stay at Thailand I was unable to shoot Danielle’s debut. I did Danielle’s sister’s debut about the same time last year, but couldnt make it out to this one. Fortunately I was able to find my very good friend Lawrence Tolentino of Lolo Photo, lolophoto.com to cover this debut. Lawrence showed me the way when I first picked up my camera and has literally motivated me to work hard and achieve something in my photography career. He understands exposure and composition better than anyone else I know in this trade and I cant say enough about him. After the debut I designed Danielle’s album so she’d have something similar to her sister’s album I made. It was a new thing working with pictures I’ve never seen before. Usually when I have a photo I remember how it was taken and what was around the edges, but this time I was literally working with just what I had. In a way it was easier since I wasn’t distracted by what I remember was happening and what things looked like, BUT it was hard since I usually shoot my weddings with an album design or story in mind as I shoot.
