Saturday, May 15, was another big day for me as Brian Bombarda and I took off to the Monterey Park area to shoot Louie and Ching Arzadon’s 50th wedding anniversary celebration. And wow this celebration was bigger than most weddings i’ve shot! Louie and Ching renewed their vows after being married May 15, 1960 and have been happily together since then. There’s not much i can say that isn’t in these pictures, its just absolutely beautiful to see two people together for that long and still have the charisma, energy, and passion for each other that many young couples have. When i was shooting them, it really felt like I was shooting two teenage love birds, Brian could back me up on that. I also got to cover their slideshow and really got to know them and their family. At the end, Angel their eldest granddaughter who helped coordinate the event and her boyfriend Alvin stepped outside while I took about 20 minutes to go on a quick photoshoot with them. I got some quality shots and posted some of them here. Just a preview of what i can do with a beautiful day, a great location, and 20 minutes :) Here’s a run through preview of the day.
