Lisa And Vireak Engagement Session

I’ve been blessed to be approached by Lisa and Vireak, a couple who has been together for many years. This couple asked me to come over last month where they welcomed me with an assortment of cheeses and wine, and I’d be lying if I didn’t tell you Gaby and I left their pretty satisfied. Over the last month they’ve been preparing for their May wedding and I was privileged enough to be chosen as their photographer. And the first thing they let me do is shoot their pre wedding engagement session!

Lisa and Vireak are both from San Diego, Lisa actually went to school for Law and Vireak, a free spirited man i’d like to think, joined and traveled with the Peace Corp among many other things, something that I admire very much. Eventually the couple moved up here, began working together (how cool huh), and is staying at La Habra and decided to have a LA area Spring Wedding. Their wedding will be in La Habra heights atop the hills overlooking all of Los Angeles and Orange County. We stopped by before the engagement shoot to scope the place out and all I can say is, “whoa”. this is going to be an amazingly beautiful wedding and i’m so excited to be shooting it.

After we checked the house out we headed over to our shoot locations which were comprised mainly of downtown LA spots since the couple is from San Diego, LA would be a new area for them, and what better to break their residence in LA County then shooting in beautiful urban Downtown LA. Everything went well except for one little hitch, bunker hill’s Angel Knoll was closed after 5pm so we didnt get our beautiful Park in Urban LA pictures, bummer… but i’m sure the rest of these make up for it.

I love love loved shooting this engagement, and it was one of the most fun shoots i’ve done yet. Thanks so much Vireak and Lisa, hope you like my favorite shots! :)
